Digital Media Academy is a digital art and technology education company focused on prepping the next generation of global leaders to succeed in a digital future through cutting-edge STEAM programs. As a Private Virtual Instructor for their Content Creation Program, I got to work with students ranging from 9 to 40 years old from across the world— California to Dubai and Hong Kong—teaching them digital literacy in different mediums from videography, gaming, content creation, and more.

Peeyade is an online publication that provides location-based information about Tehran’s cultural and entertainment scene. Starting off as a social media intern, I eventually became the company’s Social Media Specialist, as well as diving into content marketing and journalism. I curated engaging cultural campaigns, compelling our online following to provide us with city data and user-generated content. On the journalistic front, I would provide live coverage of buzzworthy art festivals and cultural events in the city, creating content on Tehran’s entertainment scene daily.

Resurrecting a popular series, SAD Mag tasked 10 local artists with the challenge of shooting with a disposable camera inspired by the latest issue’s theme.
SAD’s Found issue explores discoveries of all kinds—fresh perspectives, unexpected joys, family traditions, meaningful connections, and some things that perhaps should have never been found.
My work explored the connections I have found living in Vancouver, BC for the past three years. Big or small, the connections captured helped me find my existence in a different part of the world.

Collisions: a journey through meditation and movement, explored the idea of enhancing our human potential through the collisions we’ve encountered in the past two tumultuous years.
I helped conceptualize, curate, organize and document this exhibition. I also handled creative assets and PR efforts.

Rainbows End is a local band that makes sad songs disguised as bops for when the rainbow ends. I play synth for the band. We planned and playded a local show at Red Gate Arts Society with a slew of talented musicians, as well as performing at the Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival. We also created and starred in a music video for our lead single, “Unimpressed.”

Blind Tiger Comedy is Vancouver’s home for improv and sketch comedy classes led by world-class comedians from many award-winning Canadian groups. I attended an into improv course, as well as performing at the Blind Tiger showcase alongside my classmates.
